Announcing a New Partnership Between Concordia University Irvine and MiraculousMinds

Connecting students with real-world experience and meaningful career pathways

Welcome, MiraculousMinds! In partnership with the Center for Career and Vocation, MiraculousMinds has committed to preparing students for impactful careers during their time at Concordia University Irvine and beyond. This collaboration will expand internship and professional development opportunities for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in education upon graduation.

MiraculousMinds empowers K–12 students to establish a sense of belonging and purpose. Their mission is to ensure all students feel valued, motivated, and encouraged to unlock their potential as confident, lifelong learners. This aligns with Concordia’s values, as we pride ourselves on developing wise, honorable, and cultivated citizens who serve and give back to their communities. MiraculousMinds is expanding exponentially, allowing them to support even more students in our community.

The Center for Career and Vocation is thrilled for this opportunity to build strong professional bridges for our students. MiraculousMinds will attend career fairs and offer direct mentorship to students who intern with them. Concordia will vet interns for these opportunities prior to partnering them with MiraculousMinds, ensuring a strong and successful match.

“This partnership reflects our deep commitment to helping students discover their vocation through real-world experiences that truly matter. MiraculousMinds provides an immersive, skill-building environment where students can develop their gifts, sharpen their strengths, and meaningfully serve the local community. Through mentorship and hands-on engagement, our students have the opportunity to explore a purposeful career in education while gaining confidence in their professional identity. We are grateful to connect them with a growing network of educators and leaders who will challenge, support, and inspire them as they step boldly into their professional journey.”
– Mariah Lucas, Director of Career Development & Vocation at Concordia University Irvine

MiraculousMinds is currently offering two part-time paid internship opportunities: Administrative Intern and Academic Instructor.

  • The Administrative Intern will focus on supporting the effectiveness of the office by filing paperwork, greeting parents and students, and scheduling appointments. This role is ideal for Concordia students interested in pursuing education after graduation. The Administrative Intern position may also lead into the Academic Instructor role.
  • The Academic Instructor will focus on building strong relationships with students, using effective tutoring practices, and supporting students as they navigate academic rigor. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a teaching degree, and this position pairs well with student teaching commitments.

By working with MiraculousMinds, students gain hands-on experience and exposure to industry professionals. These opportunities are excellent additions to a resume, and even more meaningful because they allow students to serve the local community. MiraculousMinds provides opportunities to build essential skills and explore potential long-term employment pathways. This partnership strongly reflects Concordia’s commitment to student success.

“MiraculousMinds prides itself on encouraging and guiding student growth, both inside and out of the classroom. It is our sincere pleasure to partner with Concordia to provide hands-on training and real world experience within a positive and safe environment. As an alum of Concordia University Irvine and their education program, my experience as their own student has helped refine my teaching practices, build communication and collaboration skills, and build relationships with students that span years. We are thankful to Concordia for allowing us the opportunity to assist in developing wise, honorable, and cultivated educators."
– Lauren Peterson, Assistant Director at MiraculousMinds, 2019 Alumna of Concordia University Irvine
