Since 2001, over 600 students have studied abroad for a semester through Concordia University Irvine’s partner and university programs. Imagine living in Cambridge, Seoul, Quito, or one of the other 48+ locations available through our partner programs abroad.
The Moon International Center’s Programs for Study Abroad collaborates with students, faculty, staff, and international partner programs to provide rigorous short-term and semester-long academic experiences around the world to prepare students to live a life of global citizenship as they cultivate cultural awareness and adaptability to serve in diverse vocations.
Students will receive support from Moon International Center staff for study abroad advising, requirements, and travel tools from pre-departure to reentry for their semester abroad. When abroad, the Moon International Center expects students to pursue academic work that complements their major or minor course of study, gain a deeper understanding of a particular culture by spending an extended period of time immersed in that culture, and improve foreign language skills.
