Make sure you are keeping track of all the important dates and deadlines outlined below.

Spring 2019

Activate Your Student Credentials (ASAP)

Go to cui.edu/getstarted

You will need your Student Credentials to:

  • Activate your Eagles Email
  • Activate your MyRecords Account
    • Access your Financial Aid Award
    • View documents requested by the Financial Aid Department
  • Use other online resources Concordia offers its students.

*Be sure to check your Eagles Email account regularly; you will receive valuable information from all areas of campus and complete your enrollment i.e. setting up your classes etc.

Financial Aid Award Notification (Ongoing)

Notification of your Financial Aid Award is set to begin in December. You will receive your award letter via email and mail.

Spring Class Registration

The Office of Academic Advising will contact you via your Eagles Email to confirm your choice of major and collect other necessary information to build your first semester class schedule. Please reply immediately. The academic advisors will enroll you in classes for Spring 2019 during the summer and will direct you to MyRecords to view your class schedule. After classes begin in August you may meet with your academic advisor in person.

Housing Application & Meal Plan Contract Deadline (Dec. 20)

Priority placement deadline for new resident students is December 20. If you're planning to live on campus sign up and complete the online Housing & License Agreement and Meal Plan Contract.

Official Final Transcript(s) Deadline (On or before Jan. 6)

Incoming Freshmen - submit official final high school transcript (with date of graduation), official AP scores, and official college transcript(s) (if applicable) by January 6.

Transfer Students - submit official final college transcript(s) showing latest transferable coursework completed so that an Official Credit Evaluation can be completed prior to class registration.

Student Billing Statement (Early Dec.)

Your student account contains a listing of all the charges associated with your registered classes for the semester. Any/all financial aid, personal payments, and other credits are reflected within the student account for each semester, and can be settled with the Bursar’s Office. Once you have been registered for classes, a billing statement will be emailed to your CUI (Eagles) and Personal Email address listed in our records. You May View and Pay Your Student Bill Online through My Records at www.cui.edu/mycui. From the Main Menu, select My Student Bill and select the Term to view and pay your bill.

Off-Campus Housing Appeal Form Deadline (Dec. 4)

Deadline for new residents is December 4. You can download the ​​​​Off-Campus Housing Appeal Form on our website.

Health & Immunization Form Deadline (Dec. 1)

Wellness Center Health Requirements are due by December 1. Log in to your patient portal at cui.medicatconnect.com to fill out the Health History Form, sign the HIPAA (privacy) Form, enter the dates of required immunizations, and upload your immunization record.

Obtain Your I-20 Documents

Submit important information about your arrival date, housing status, flight details, orientation attendance, and transition needs by completing the International Student Check-In Form.

Confirm Your Health Insurance

All international students in the Undergraduate and Intensive English Program (IEP) are automatically enrolled in health insurance coverage through CUI. The insurance fee is charged to student bills by semester (or by IEP session).

If you are a SACM student or exchange student with U.S. based insurance, please contact the Wellness Center so that your insurance plan can be reviewed for approval before the first day of class.

SOAR - Student Orientation, Activities and Registration (January 5)

Download the international orientation schedule for your program:

International Orientation will be followed by the campus-wide Spring Orientation for all new students starting at Concordia University Irvine in Spring 2019. To see the Spring Orientation schedule, go to: www.cui.edu/soar. All information and communication will be relayed electronically. Check your Eagles Email consistently. Purchase or Rent Your Textbooks

After receiving your class schedule at SOAR (Student Orientation, Activities and Registration) and before classes begin, you can review your book list for classes. You can do this by logging onto MyRecords and selecting "My Classes," then "My Student Course Schedule" then, "Order Your Books." Our campus bookstore is happy to assist you with your order. Call (949) 214-3454 to speak with a bookstore representative.
