Honor One Another Campaign
Honor One Another is a university-wide initiative to cultivate a wise and honorable campus community. The campaign is rooted in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church in Rome in which he wrote, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself.” (Romans 12:10). With this in mind, Concordia strives to foster an environment in which its members value and respect one another and place their neighbor’s welfare above their own. Together as a campus we are committed to building a community of caring, inclusive of our diverse population and free from harassment, racism, sexism and violence. Watch the Honor One Another video.
Green Dot-Bystander Trainings
The Green Dot Strategy is a bystander intervention program aimed at reducing power based personal violence within our community. By equipping members of our campus with safe and effective intervention strategies, we are working to prevent the likelihood that acts such as stalking, partner violence and sexual assault will occur.
The Green Dot Strategy is about gaining a critical mass of students, staff and faculty who are willing to do their small part to actively and visibly reduce power-based personal violence at Concordia University.
