Newly admitted students, welcome to Concordia University Irvine! This week is designed to give you and your family opportunities to interact with our current students, staff, faculty and alumni.

We invite you to participate in this broad spectrum of virtual events as we celebrate you and your admission to CUI. We can’t wait for you to officially become a proud Concordia Eagle!

Getting involved on campus is a huge part of enhancing your college experience. At CUI, we proudly have numerous clubs and organizations that you could be a part of. Whether cultural, athletic, service or simply interest related, we highly encourage you to check out what we have to offer. Join this panel of student leaders who will share everything you need to know about getting involved as a future Concordia Eagle!

Adventure Beyond the Classroom

Join Dr. John Norton with a team of CUI Professors and friends, as he shares the exciting new 2022 Around the World: USA Program! Learn about the USA excursions and the future of the Around the World semester. If you are a student with a passion for traveling, don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn about how you can experience this amazing semester as a CUI student!

Music: “The Past Four Years…the Next Four Years”

This session is open to students (regardless of major) who are interested in joining a music ensemble. Assistant Dean Dr. Jeff Held highlights Concordia’s historic music events of the past four years and the tremendous plans for the next four years. Parents and guests are also encouraged to attend.

Concordia offers opportunities for all musicians with high school experience in choirs, band, orchestra, jazz, commercial, handbell, worship ensemble, or chamber music. Providing lifetime highlight opportunities on the finest stages and recording studios, Concordia has one of the most robust small college music programs on the West Coast.

Game Night With CUI: Basket Bingo

Suitcase Bingo has traditionally been one of the most attended and beloved student events at CUI. Students gather to play rounds of this classic game in hopes of winning big themed baskets or ultimately the grand prize getaway. Join us for a virtual edition of “Basket Bingo” with current CUI students! Win fun prizes and play for your chance to win the Grand Basket Prize!

Paint Night

Grab a canvas, paint, and brushes, and join us for a fun virtual paint night! Tamara Sauer, Director of Alumni & Family Relations will guide you through the steps of making your very own work of art! Admissions Counselors will join in the fun and answer any questions you may have about life as a CUI student. If you don’t already have your own painting supplies, we highly recommend purchasing this set of supplies for this event.

Game Night With CUI: E-sports

Join us for a fun and exciting E-sport game session with our current CUI students! Learn more about the club, how to become a part of the team, or come play for fun!

Our E-Sports Club strives to bring friends and students together to play a variety of video games with the goal of building friendship, promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork. While maintaining Christian values, our E-Sports club competes in tournaments representing Concordia University Irvine.

Out of State Admitted Students & Parents: Join us for a very special event, as our panel of beloved parents of current CUI students from all over the country wish to share their stories and experiences with you. From helping their students transition to college from out of state to sunny Southern California, to how CUI has cared for their own, most especially during this momentous time. We invite you to ask your questions, allow us to calm your worries or concerns and embrace this exciting transition!
