Pastor Richard Bliese
Q & I Question: Who do you say that I am?
Dietrich Bonhoeffer addresses the challenge of how to live a Christian life within politically difficult times. His suggestions for how to live a faithful life are still provocative, even over 70 years after his martyr’s death in a Nazi concentration camp. His life and writings are a unity; therefore, they form fresh, generative guides for Christians today.
Pastor Richard Bliese has served as a pastor and missionary (Germany, Zaire, Rwanda and the United States), professor of theology, consultant, and seminary president. He has co-authored or edited three books: The Evangelizing Church: A Lutheran Contribution, Living Out Our Callings in the Workplace, and The Dictionary of Mission: Theology, History, Perspectives. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He remains active as a consultant for congregations and non-profit organizations.
