Prerequisite Courses - Approved at Area Community Colleges

Nursing Program/ABSN

The Department of Nursing has approved courses from the colleges below to satisfy Concordia University’s ABSN prerequisite requirements. They will be updated annually. Taking prerequisites does not guarantee acceptance into the program (refer to the website for Admission Requirements). With the exception of NTHL 101 and NTHL 202, students may transfer all required prerequisite units from any regionally accredited institution.* All science classes must also include a laboratory portion and be completed within 5 years of intended admission term. Online science classes with online/virtual/take home laboratories portion will not be accepted (refer to the end of the page for current exceptions).

NOTE: These courses are approved for Concordia University’s NURSING PROGRAM/ABSN prerequisites ONLY. For TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE degree requirements, please refer to the General Education and the specific major Articulation Agreements to view which courses will satisfy your requirements.
