Summer Concert Series: Concerts on the Green

Plan to join us at this summer’s Concordia’s Concerts on the Green on Sunday, July 5, 12, and 19, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Bring your blanket, beach chair, and picnic basket, or purchase food from Bon Appetit’s concession stand. Brats, burgers, hotdogs, chips, cookies & drinks will be on the menu. Scarving & Photos & Floats

Join in the tradition of Scarving our newest Golden Eagles during WOW weekend on Saturday, August 22nd and then serve a traditional root beer float to parents, family members, and new students at the Photos & Floats Send Off. Turtle Rock (Main) Campus (1530 Concordia West, Irvine).

We invite you to join the Concordia Community for CONCORDIAserves! Last year, over 1,000 members of our Concordia family stepped into the community on one day, called to give to others from the abundance they have been given. The 8th Annual CONCORDIAserves will engage alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, donors, and friends around the world to serve where they are, in the way they can.

CU Give Back

CU Give Back is a chance to rally around a particular project, team, or program and make an impact on the Concordia community, directly enhancing our students' college experience. 

Last year, more than 680 Golden Eagles and friends rallied to raise nearly $200,000 across 50+ campus initiatives. This year, with your support, we are hopeful that we can make an even greater impact for our students.

Golden Eagle Golf Classic

A long-standing tradition at Concordia University Irvine, our Golden Eagle Golf Classic is an invitation to spend a day playing the greens at the exclusive Coto de Caza Golf Club while we raise funds for our Golden Eagle Athletics.

Golfers will enjoy a full day of golf, with beverages and lunch provided.  The day will conclude with dinner, prize announcements (putting contest, longest drive, etc.)  and a gift basket raffle.

Concordia Christmas at Segerstrom

Celebrate the Christmas season with the voices and instruments of Concordia University Irvine. This year, we are once again blessed to share our annual celebration of the Christmas season with local audiences at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, and with a national audience through our made-for-TV Christmas special featured on PBS. 

Under the theme Concordia Christmas: Come and See, Concordia’s critically-acclaimed choirs, handbells, and orchestra celebrate the season of hope and the birth of the world’s long-awaited Savior! This year’s concerts showcase more than 200 performers from eight vocal and instrumental performing ensembles under the masterful direction of Dr. Michael Busch, Dr. Jeff Held, Dr. Clarissa Shan, and Alex Guebert. Enjoy festive carols and Christmas favorites, old and new. Concordia's Christmas concerts are a highlight of the holiday season, so get your tickets early here.

Alumni Day

Join us for a fun, family-friendly day of celebration featuring alumni games, campus tours, and plenty of Golden Eagle spirit. Reconnect with old friends, cheer on former players, and explore the Golden Eagle Complex. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks as you take in the festivities.

Alumni Gathering | Best Practices Phoenix

BPM, which stands for Best Practices in Ministry, is a conference hosted by Christ Church Lutheran. For over 10 years we have offered this FREE conference to remind professional and lay church workers that you are loved, you are not alone, and you matter. And when we say free, we truly mean that: free meals, free shuttling, free speakers, free snacks, free activities, free registration.

Every Year we meet across the street at The Origonal Arcadia Tavern at 6PM for a great evening of fellowship and of course, cold beer and cheeseburgers. Its FREE. Join us.

Dueling Pianos

Friends, families, and alumni, you're invited to a special evening on campus! Join us Friday, March 12 from 6:00–8:30 pm for Dueling Pianos: LIVE! at the Borland-Manske Center Alumni Plaza. Enjoy live music from our talented alumni performers, complimentary coffee and hot cocoa, a beer & wine garden, and exciting raffle baskets. You are welcome to bring your own food and chairs, or you can pre-order a delicious charcuterie box when you register!
