Concordia University Irvine understands that college is not a dream. It’s a plan.

To inspire Latina students to pursue academic goals that bring brighter futures, Concordia University Irvine, a private Christian Lutheran non-profit university, is launched its first Latina Leadership Conference on its campus:

College: A Plan for the Future
Saturday, October 22, 2016
9:00am - 2:00 pm

Designed for first-generation (first-gen) Hispanic high school and community college female students, the free half-day conference on our campus encouraged students to consider pathways to college, and how to navigate that path.

Partnering with local school districts and community colleges, the conference prepared students to have a more complete awareness of career pathways. Workshops and scheduled speakers included:
