Congratulations on your acceptance to Concordia University Irvine! We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Concordia Family as we begin our 33rd year developing our students into wise, honorable, and cultivated citizens.
Week of Welcome occurs from Saturday, August 23rd - Wednesday, August 27th. Our WOW theme is "Set Your Scene" in which you will have numerous opportunities to get involved and take advantage of what Concordia offers before you start your classes. Use your talents and skills and set your scene early on in your first year here at Concordia University Irvine!
To ensure that your matriculation into our university is as smooth as possible, please use the checklist below.
□ Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This can be done online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. All students applying for Institutional aid MUST file a FAFSA.

□ Submit $200 Tuition Deposit by May 1, 2008 to the Admissions Office and $300 Housing Deposit
by June 30, 2008.
$200 for communter students or **500 for resident students.
** $500 must be submitted in order to secure your place in the Residence Halls and your future at Concordia University.
** If you have already deposited $200, and extra $300 is needed for housing.
** Call (800) 229-1200, ext. 1106 to deposit over the phone.
□ Complete and submit the Housing Application and License Agreement
□ Submit Meal Contract
□ Complete the Undergraduate Health/ Immunization Form
□ Verify Health Insurance Coverage
All students will be enrolled in a Concordia University Irvine Aetna Student Health Insurance Program unless you show proof of a comparable health insurance plan for the 2008-2009 academic year. If you have comparable health insurance, you may waive CUI’s heath insurance plan by visiting our "Health Insurance" website. If you have not waived CUI’s health insurance program by September 30, 2008, you will be automatically enrolled and premiums will be charged to your student accounts.
□ Submit official transcripts from your previous schools to the Admissions Office
Freshmen- high school transcript(s), AP test score(s)
Transfers-college transcript(s)
□ Complete and submit the WOW Student and Parent Registration Form
* Please mail in the required forms in a timely fashion. Outstanding forms will result in a hold on your check-in status on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
