Concordia University Irvine's RN to BSN degree program is no longer offered for registered nurses (RNs). If you hold a bachelor’s degree and are looking to complete your Bachelor’s of Science in nursing, our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) second-degree program offers a fast-track to completing your degree in as little as 15 months.

Dual Enrollment RN-BSN

Dual Enrollment is offered to current Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) students. Students are able to begin taking up to 9 units of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) courses after successful completion of their second semester, with approval from the ADN program director. Students will matriculate into the RN to BSN Program upon graduation and have one semester to receive their RN license.

Park Place Campus

Park Place campus is the home of Concordia University Irvine’s Nursing Program. This state-of-the-art facility features classrooms, two skills labs, and three simulation labs with high fidelity mannequins, where students can practice hands-on nursing skils for the healthcare environment.

The Park Place campus is located off of Jamboree Rd. and Michelson Dr., less than ten minutes away from Concordia’s main campus in Irvine, and offers free parking for guests with validation.

Terry Cottle, DNP, RN

Assistant Professor of Nursing

Terry Cottle began her nursing career in 1979 when she received her BSN from Loma Linda University School of Nursing. She worked in a variety of hospitals and healthcare settings in San Bernardino and Orange Counties. She completed an MSN in Community Health Nursing and received a School Nurse Services Credential in 2004. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016 with a focus on Nursing Leadership.

Kathleen Kennedy, PhD(c), MSN, RN, PHN

Assistant Professor of Nursing

Kathleen lived and worked in Japan for 30 years, as a Christian pastor and church-planting missionary, raising 4 children there. Now, living in the States, her heart is open to the needs of the many different cultural groups she sees around her. Her nursing background has been helpful in seeing the needs of the world and reaching out in practical ways to point people to Jesus and His saving love for them.

Elizabeth Vega, DNP, RN, CNE

Assistant Professor of Nursing

Elizabeth acquired a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island, Cum Laude. Earned a Master's of Science in Nursing from Walden University with a specialty in Nursing Education. Graduated recently from Union University with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.
