About Us

Zoë Litzenberg

Zoë Litzenberg

Faculty Facilitator Zoë Litzenberg is the Assistant Director of the Writing Studio and teaches writing courses at Concordia. She loves reading Stephen King novels, talking about movies, and writing in her free time. Every year, she tries to learn a new craft or skill; this year, she’s learning how to oil paint! She believes all academic and creative pursuits provide a new way to make friends and love God better. During summer, Zoë likes to spend time watching birds with her two tuxedo cats, Giacomo and Erasmus, and finding reasons to laugh with her husband Jonah.

Sara Fletcher

Sara Fletcher

Faculty Facilitator Sara Fletcher has been teaching Studio Art (drawing, painting, and printmaking) at Concordia since 2022. She loves to draw and paint from nature and imagination using oil, watercolor, and gouache paints. She also enjoys relief sculpture in clay. In the summers, she explores walking paths with her husband Chris, who is also an artist, and their daughter Beatrice, and they stop to make drawings, have picnics and discuss fairy tales and the Bible.

Madison Zuñiga

Madison Zuñiga

Alumni Facilitator Madison Zuñiga graduated from Concordia Irvine in the spring of 2025 with dual degrees in creative writing and studio arts. She has many academic and creative interests, and during her time as an undergrad, she was involved in the on-campus Concordia Writing Studio, the Courier newspaper, and The Aerie arts journal. She especially enjoys clay figure sculpture, textile arts, book arts, poetry, and short story writing. During the summertime, Madison stays busy sewing and reading outside in the sun with her three cats!

Dylan Arant

Dylan Arant

Alumni Facilitator Dylan Arant studied both Graphic Design and Theology at Concordia. Medieval-style painting and digital animation are his favorite kinds of art. In the summertime, he enjoys reading and going to the gym.
