Irvine, Calif. (October 17, 2013)— Following Concordia University Irvine’s record enrollment for Fall 2013, comes the expansion of the campus into new business offices nearby in the Discovery Business Center. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on November 15th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the new: 15420 Laguna Canyon Road, Suite 150; Irvine, California.
Earlier this semester, Concordia University Irvine announced that the university had set enrollment records across the board. As a response to a growing campus, the offices of the School of Professional Studies - Adult Degree Programs, M.A. International Studies, and the Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA) teams moved to the new office location.
President of Concordia University Irvine Kurt Krueger states, "Because of the unprecedented growth in our Master's and adult degree programs and because of our determination to maintain high academic quality and excellent student services, Concordia is providing office space for a number of faculty and staff in Irvine. This additional space, located a few miles from our main campus, will allow for additional growth and assure outstanding service for many years to come.”
Very grateful for the need to expand, Gary McDaniel, Chief Enrollment Officer states, "The addition of this new offsite location is yet another example of how the Lord is blessing our great university! The growth of faculty, staff, and students increases the university's ability to share the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for that I am forever grateful."
“This move is a result of tremendous growth for us,” Timothy Peters, Dean for the School of Professional Studies, explains. “Opening offices in the heart of the business community allows Concordia's School of Professional Studies and Masters in Coaching Administration to be a part of the thriving Orange County professional community.”
