Q&A with Spencer

Where are you from?
I was born in San Francisco, CA and raised in Castro Valley, CA.

What did you study in college?
I graduated from UC Davis in 2020. I majored in Communications and minored in Education.

What is your favorite place to eat in Irvine?
Coco Ichibanya for Japanese Curry. Get the thin sliced beef curry, medium spicy, and add veggies! If you have space in your stomach head over to Cha for Tea and get the iced mango green tea!

What do you like to do with your free time?
I enjoy playing tennis, going to the gym, baking for friends, discovering new coffee shops, and learning new languages.

What advice do you have for students going through the admissions process?
Take campus tours to get a feel for the environment, connect with current students to get a sense of the community, and commit to a place where you can thrive and use your gifts.
