A City With Many Facets
Paris, also known as the “City of Lights,” is a rich city both culturally and artistically. It is also a young and dynamic city, well known for its cafes (one for 200 inhabitants), its parks (Bois de Boulogne, Luxembourg Garden...), its markets... With an abundance of monuments that reflect the glorious past of France and its impact on modern civilization, Paris also creates an atmosphere that embodies the avant-garde of modern trends. Famous sites and monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Champs-Elysees of Paris have made it one of the world’s most popular destinations.
