Fifth International Conference on Binary & Multiple Stars

Conference Cancelled

The Fifth International Conference on Binary and Multiple Stars, which was scheduled to be held on August 4th-6th, 2017 on the campus of Concordia University Irvine, has been canceled due to insufficient registrations.The first four conferences alternated between France and Spain, and it is expected that this will continue with the fifth conference being held in Europe as in the past. It was thought that the total solar eclipse would be enough of a draw to make the conference work one-time in North America, but this turned out not to be the case. Organizers of the event, the Garraf Astronomical Observatory, will honor refunds to anyone who has registered. For more information, visit the Garraf Astronomical Observatory.
