To help employees earn their bachelor’s degree or advanced degree, Concordia University Irvine (CUI) today announced the launch of its Smart Alliance Program, a program offering partner employees and members a tuition discount toward their graduate and undergraduate degrees.

“Employees feel valued when their employers offer resources and support that benefit their well-being,” says Concordia University Irvine’s Director of External Partnerships and Business Development Justin Moschina. “The Smart Alliance Program helps organizations to bridge the gap to education by offering their employees and members a financial break from the cost of higher education.”

The new program allows employers and organizations, at no cost, the ability to offer employees, and in some cases their members, waived application fees, along with tuition discount toward graduate and undergraduate degrees. In cases where employers have tuition reimbursement in place, the discount applies on top of the reimbursement. Graduate degrees include Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Education, and Master of Science in Nursing, Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration, and more, while undergraduate degrees include Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Organizational Psychology, Healthcare Management, and RN to BSN. Courses are offered online and on campus in Irvine, as well.

In cases where organizations with members, such as professional associations and chambers of commerce, tuition discount extends to employees and members alike. Current Smart Alliance Partners include the United States Postal Service (USPS), Boy Scouts of America Orange County Council, First Tee of Orange County, Taller San Jose, Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), the Association of California Nurse Leaders, and three local Chambers of Commerce.

Smart Alliance Partners receive their own web page for employees or members to enroll directly online through Concordia.
