Amanda Norris Named 2022 Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 Honoree

Irvine, CA., Nov. 22, 2022 – Concordia congratulates Amanda (Harris) Norris for being named a 2022 Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 honoree. The chamber recognized Norris at its November 17, 2022, ceremony as one of Orange County’s brightest young professionals who positively impact the community and position Orange County as an economic powerhouse. Norris is the Director of Student Life & Leadership Development at Concordia, where she oversees student leadership groups, clubs, campus-wide programming, and more. Norris additionally supervises the Assistant Director of Orientation & Student Activities and teaches a Leadership Development course. 

“Amanda truly deserves this award. She boosts team morale through her direction and support. She guides Concordia leadership students with clarity and kindness through the significant change each year brings. She has worked hard and earned the respect of many. It is an honor to work for her,” said Jessica James, Assistant Director of Orientation & Student Activities.

Norris graduated from Concordia University Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University. Norris served as a Resident Director before transitioning to her current position. Norris is a valuable mentor and role model to the future leaders being developed by Concordia, and the university is proud of her dedicated service.
