Concordia University Irvine Ranks as a "Best College" Again in 2021 Listing

U.S. News & World Report Names CUI as a “Top Tier” Regional University in 2021 College Rankings

IRVINE, CA (September 17, 2020)Concordia University Irvine (CUI) ranked 49th in the 2021 Best Regional Universities West rankings according to U.S. News & World Report annual rankings released this week.

In addition to being named a “Top Tier” Regional University by U.S. News & World Report, Concordia University Irvine also ranked in other categories. CUI moved up in ranking to 24th in the Best Value Schools category in the West. Best value schools are considered universities that offer students the best value by taking into account a school’s academic quality and the net cost of attendance. Concordia Irvine also ranked 29th in the Best Colleges for Veterans category and 93rd in the Top Performers for Social Mobility.

About 3,000 four-year universities—public and private—in the United States are ranked annually by U.S. News & World Report nationally. The rankings, which evaluate college and universities on more than a dozen measures of academic quality—including retention and graduation rates, class sizes, faculty resources, student-to-faculty ratio, and more—are split into four regions—North, South, Midwest, and West.
