Concordia University Irvine (CUI) upholds professional standards of human subjects research (HSR) conducted by its faculty, staff, students, and partners. The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is composed of internal and external representatives across the schools and disciplines, committed to the advancement of ethical research and human subjects protections. IRB rules and policies are based on the provisions of the Protection of Human Subjects in the Code of Federal Regulations (45 CFR 46) and accepted HSR protections practices.
