Adult Degree Program Transfer Alignments
General Guidelines:
Courses must be from a regionally accredited institution.
Courses must be Baccalaureate level.
Grade must be a C- or better.
Credit will not be given for duplicate courses.
Transfer units can be used for GE or Elective units only, no major coursework will be transferred.
Students will be allowed a maximum of 32 unaccredited transfer units. This includes CLEP, DSST, and Straighterline.

Applied Liberal Arts: 78
Business Administration & Leadership: 72
Healthcare Management: 68
Organizational Psychology: 78
A student has 2 options for fulfilling their General Education (GE) requirements. They can provide an official transcript showing that they have completed an AA, CSU general education certification or IGETC certification, or they can complete Concordia University Irvine’s Adult Degree Program general education program. Please use the information below to see how your Community College courses should transfer, if you plan to complete CUI’s GE.
CUI will accept Community College GE transfer coursework from courses which will satisfy similar category requirements in the CSU or IGETC programs. Please see the chart below to see which categories are considered similar. (Students can use
