Acappella Vocal Groups

Welcome to the Concordia University Acappella Vocal Group Ministry audition page! Concordia's a cappella vocal group's ministry program began in 2004 and is well known for exciting, spiritual performances. They record and perform in various venues throughout the year, culminating in an end of the year concert.

We are looking for 3-5 female singers and 1-2 male singers to supplement and develop our two a cappella vocal groups. These ministry teams will rehearse weekly and travel monthly to churches, schools, and community events on behalf of Concordia throughout the year.

Our male group, Witness, will be casting a completely new group, as all of our current members are graduating in May. Vocalists who specialize in bass, tenor, pop solo, and vocal percussion are encouraged to audition.

Our female group, Acclaim, has 3 returning vocalists and will be casting 2-3 highly skilled singers who specialize in pop style and harmony. We are especially looking for vocal percussionists and a female bass.

If you are interested in auditioning, please download and prepare the following songs. Please also be prepared to demonstrate your unique singing abilities including skills in singing pop-style lead parts, percussion, bass, high soprano, instrumental-style vocalizing, etc.
