Lynnette Ball McGee is active both as an organ soloist and accompanist. She was awarded a scholarship to California State University, Fullerton and earned her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in organ performance, graduating with highest honors and receiving an Outstanding Performance Award in Keyboard Studies. Her teachers include Esther Jones, Frances Nobert, Burton Karson, and her mother, Phyllis Ball. Lynnette has performed organ numerous organ recitals, including the Organ Alive! National Conference, held at the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles. She also performs regularly as harpsichordist for the California Concert Artists chamber group.
Lynnette is in great demand as a teacher and accompanist. She maintains a private piano and organ studio, freelances as an accompanist for community, church, and college choirs, and recently became a staff accompanist at Irvine Valley College and Concordia University. She is also on the adjunct piano faculty at Concordia University. She is in her twenty-first year as organist at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Hills. She resides in Brea with her husband, Warren, and two teenage children, David and Alissa.
