Elizabeth Johnson, an Irvine resident, received her Bachelor of Music from the University of California at Irvine. She then studied at The Peabody Conservatory of Music at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where she received her Master of Music Degree and her Graduate Performance Diploma. Miss Johnson is on faculty at Vanguard University, Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA) and has her own private violin studio. She has performed with The American Ballet Theatre, The Joffrey Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet and touring Broadway shows including “The Light in the Piazza”, “The Color Purple”, “The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber”, “South Pacific” and Disney’s “The Lion King”. In addition, she is an active freelance musician with local symphonies in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas, a studio recording musician for the movies, and has performed with various artists including Josh Groban, Bebe Neuwirth, The Vandals and Steve Perry.
