Service Opportunities
At Concordia University Irvine, we believe true freedom is found in service.

Called to Serve and Volunteer
Concordia students find countless ways to live out their callings by caring for creation, partnering with local organizations, and addressing real community needs. Whether you’re planting in the Heritage Garden, volunteering through Concordia Cares, or serving as a College Corps Fellow, you’ll grow in wisdom and compassion while making a lasting impact.
Concordia Serves
For one day each fall, the Concordia community unites for Concordia Serves, our annual day of service, and trades classrooms for work gloves and servant hearts. Thousands of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and families step into the community together, partnering with dozens of nonprofits to meet local needs with compassion and purpose.

Peer Advising & Leadership (PAL) Program
The Peer Advising & Leadership Program connects new students with experienced Concordia student leaders who provide mentorship, encouragement, and community throughout the first year. Peer Advising Leaders (PALs) help students navigate their transition to college life through personal connection, campus involvement, and academic support—fostering a sense of belonging from the very first days on campus.
College Corps
The #CaliforniansForAll College Corps fellowship offers students the chance to serve in critical areas like K–12 education, climate action, and food insecurity. Fellows commit 450 hours of service during the academic year and receive $10,000 in educational support. Along the way, you’ll gain real-world experience and build professional skills — all while making a difference in California communities.
