Biography
Zoë Litzenberg is Assistant Professor of Writing and Director of the Writing Studio at Concordia University Irvine. She also serves as faculty advisor to Concordia’s The Aerie, the student-led arts and literary journal,as well as the Creative Collective, CUI’s creative writing club. Her research interests include the Personal Essay; horror in film and literature; and student-centered, interdisciplinary teaching. Elected Treasurer of the SoCal Writing Centers Association in 2025, she is also active in AWP, NCTE, MLA, and IWCA. Outside of academia, she enjoys creative pursuits, Stephen King novels, and time with her husband and two tuxedo cats.
