Biography
Dr. Priscilla Yau earned her B.A. and Ph.D. in Psychological Science from the University of California, Irvine.
Her research focuses on the factors that influence adolescents’ academic motivation, including parenting and extracurricular activities.
She is particularly interested in exploring how motivational skills learned in sports can transfer to academics, and is also committed to advancing research in sport psychology.
Dr. Yau values building connections with students both inside and outside the classroom in hopes of supporting their academic, professional, and spiritual growth.
