Mark Rose

A man in a suit and tie

Allow me to introduce myself and give you some background information so you will see where I have been, and where I am now. My name is Mark Rose and I have been a high school athletic director, coach, and teacher for over 40 years at two different high schools in the Southern & Central Coasts of California. I have recently retired after my 18th year as the Athletic Director at Paso Robles High School. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been involved with high school athletics for over 45 years.

This will be my 16th teaching for Concordia University Master’s Degree Program. In the past, I have taught a similar class at Cal Poly University San Luis Obispo, which is part of the California State University System. I have covered several classes at Long Beach State University as well. It has been very enjoyable for me to work with professionals like you who are trying to improve their situations by getting their Master’s Degrees. I obtained my Master’s Degree in a program very similar to this one, while I was a full-time High School Teacher, Dept. Head, and Head Coach, so I think I have some understanding of what you are presently going through!
