Biography
Is currently the Athletics Director/Campus Coordinator for 7th and 8th grade boys as well as the Head Football Coach for Godley ISD in Godley, Texas. Before he relocated to Godley, Texas he served as a Secondary Health Teacher, Football, Softball and Girls Badminton Coach at Clovis West High School in Clovis, CA.
During his stint as a Division 1 Level High School he filled the roles of Varsity Offensive Coordinator – Offensive Line, QB Coach, JV Head Coach. He was responsible for implementation of philosophies as directed by the Head football coach as well as the installation of a no huddle Pistol and Under Center spread and Hybrid Gun offense that included zone reads and passing game. Additionally, from 2011 through 2023 Coach Campbell was responsible for the yearly organization of spring Youth Football Camp for young athletes, Kindergarten through 6th grade which involved approximately 360 youth participants.
Before moving to Clovis West High School, Coach Campbell was a member of the Clovis High School teaching and coaching staff in Clovis, California from 2007 to 2009. At this Division 1 Level High School he served as Head Football Coach and PE Instructor. Coach Campbell was primarily responsible for implementation of philosophies, schemes, strategies, techniques, and skills development at all levels, including intermediate schools. Supervised and evaluated the performance of all boys’ coaches at high school and intermediate schools.
Coach Jerry Campbell started coaching in Texas. He worked as the Varsity Offensive Coordinator in football, the boys soccer coach and a teacher. Developed a multiple offensive scheme, geared to an option and passing attack. Coordinated and installed offensive schemes for all levels. Health Teacher and Athletic period coordinator at Westwood High School at Austin, Texas 2000 – 2003. The team was the 5A Co-Champions in 2002 and made a State play-off appearance.
In 1993 through 1997 Coach Campbell served the Texas A & M University, Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas served as the Offensive Line Coach and Kinesiology Instructor. He installed all offensive procedures dealing with blocking the run and pass game. National and Regional level recruiter. Coached defensive line in 1993.
