Education and Credentials

Dr. Eugene P. Kim earned his PhD in Comparative/International Education from UCLA and is an influencer and change catalyst for AI in K-20 educational environments around the world. Dr. Kim authored the AI Adoption Framework (2025) and Artificial Intelligence Adoption Inventory (2024) which together are used across schools and colleges to empower AI integration. As an AI thought leader and researcher, he is on the Orange County Department of Education’s AI Forward Advisory Board which impacts over 30 school districts across Southern California, is a consultant to the nation’s largest private schools, and is co-founder of Genesis AI Research Lab. He is featured in and was consultant to the documentary film Blindsided by AI: The Bigger Picture (2024).
As Professor and Chair of doctoral programs in Leadership and Organizational Change at Concordia University Irvine, Dr. Kim mentors executives across government, corporate, non-profit, military, and educational sectors. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has served on numerous boards, launched international companies, private schools, and non-profits, authored seminal publications such as Business in Contemporary China (2016) and Global Enterprise: The Theory and Practice of International Business (2022), and has been invited to give keynote addresses and presentations at major international conferences. His work informs academic discourse and policy development worldwide while transforming practice through executive coaching, empirical research, and innovative leadership in both the public and private sectors.
