Biography
Dr. Amber Quaranta-Leech earned her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma and South Carolina. Dr. Quaranta-Leech is an EMDRIA-approved consultant and trainer, and much of her professional work centers on training and consulting with clinicians in trauma-informed care.
With over a decade of experience in trauma mental health, her clinical background includes work with uniformed service members, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals impacted by childhood abuse and large-scale traumatic events. Her research interests focus on mass trauma, including mass shooting events, and evidence-based approaches to trauma recovery.
Dr. Quaranta-Leech maintains a limited clinical practice across her licensed states, while dedicating the majority of her time to teaching, supervision, and professional development. She is passionate about equipping emerging counselors with practical skills and a strong foundation in trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions to support client healing and resilience.
