Biography
Dr. Charlie Rodrigues serves as an Associate Professor of Education and the Director of SOE Data Management and Logistics at Concordia University Irvine. He teaches in the Teacher Credential Program and is recognized as a subject matter expert in his field. In his administrative role, he oversees critical data management processes for the School of Education and guides new adjunct instructors through the onboarding experience—an area directly connected to his doctoral research on effective faculty onboarding in higher education.
Before joining the full-time faculty, Dr. Rodrigues served as the Assistant Registrar for Graduate Programs at Concordia University Irvine. His background also includes more than 20 years of experience in Lutheran elementary education and higher education administration.
Dr. Rodrigues completed all of his degrees at Concordia University Irvine, earning a BA in Liberal Studies, an MAED, and an EdD. He and his wife are the proud parents of two active boys. As a family, they enjoy traveling, spending time with extended family, and reading together.
