What is Blackboard?
Blackboard is our online learning and course management system. Your instructors will use Blackboard as a supplement to courses you take in a classroom setting, and as the central meeting location for all online courses. In Blackboard you will find:
- Course documents
- Lecture notes
- Assignments
- Quizzes and tests
- Online chat tools
- Collaboration tools such as whiteboard
Please note that you may not be able to log in to Blackboard until after you have registered for classes. You also may not see courses you are registered for until the beginning of the semester. Instructors are responsible for making courses available for students, so if you do not see a course for which you are enrolled, contact your instructor.
How do you log in?
Use your Student ID as your "Username" to log in, and the same password that you use for your Eagles email and the library databases.
What if you cannot log in?
If you are having problems logging in to Blackboard, make sure you have activated your account on the self-service password management website. You will NOT be able to use your temporary password to log in to any Concordia online resource. You must activate in the self-service site and change your password first. If you have already activated your account, go to the self-service password management website and try resetting your password using the instructions on the website.
If this still does not work, contact IT Services via email: [email protected] or call 949.214.3175.
