At Concordia University Irvine, your learning doesn’t stop when class ends. Our Living Learning Communities (LLCs) give you the chance to explore your callings in life and build lasting friendships. Each LLC creates a unique environment that blends academics, faith, and community.
Bella Amore
A community for women who want to grow in faith, confidence, and connection. In Bella Amore, you’ll find meaningful friendships, uplifting conversations, and a supportive environment to explore how your many callings impact the world around you.
The Creative Edge
A space where artists and creatives of all kinds — musicians, writers, actors, dancers, and more — come together to celebrate and share their gifts. In the Creative Edge, you’ll be encouraged to express yourself, collaborate with peers, and experience the joy of creativity in community.
Global Village
A residence for transfer students, providing a community of globally-minded students who love both their local and distant neighbors through exploration of culture, convictions, connections, and civil dialogue.
Polis Plaza
A gathering place for students who want to think deeply about faith, culture, and civic life. In Polis Plaza, you’ll wrestle with questions of ethics, politics, and community in light of Concordia’s Christ-centered mission, preparing you to be wise and honorable leaders in today’s world.
Applying for a Living Learning Community (LLC)
- It is important to submit your application as soon as possible, there are a limited number of available spots in each LLC.
- Applications are first-come, first-served, and will be received by the LLC application committee in that order.
- Before choosing the community you would like to apply to, be sure to read the LLC description clearly.
- LLCs will accept any interested student with a sophomore, junior, or senior class standing. Transfer students are welcome.
How to Apply
- Complete your housing application at cui.erezlife.com
- Select which Living Learning Community (LLC) you would like to apply to
- Please note the following building locations for each LLC:
- Kappa – Polis Plaza
- Theta – The Creative Edge
- Lambda – Global Village
- Omicron – Bella Amore
Once you have completed your housing application, you will receive an email regarding your application status from cui.erezlife.com. If you receive an email with a different building assignment, the LLC’s may be full, and you can sign up to live in another residence hall. Email [email protected] with any questions.
