Catherine Webb

Biography

Dr. Catherine Webb is a Professor of Education at Concordia University Irvine, where she serves in multiple academic leadership roles, including Director of the MAEd Educational Administration program, Chair of the EdD Education Administration Specialization, CalAPA Coordinator, and HSI Fellow. She brings over 25 years of educational experience across K–12 and higher education, combining deep expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum development, assessment, and evidence-based practice.

Her professional background includes service as a K–8 teacher, special education teacher, site administrator, and district administrator in both California and Arizona. She holds Clear Administrative Services and Teaching Credentials in both states. Dr. Webb’s dissertation focused on the effectiveness of professional learning communities and their impact on student achievement—a theme that continues to shape her research and teaching.

Since 2007, she has been active in higher education as a professor, consultant, and professional development presenter, collaborating with school districts nationwide. She is recognized for her work in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, technology integration, diverse learners, and school improvement. Dr. Webb is guided by a strong commitment to integrating faith and learning, believing education is a transformative process that helps students discover and live out their calling.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes student engagement, leadership development, and application of learning to real-world contexts. She encourages students to pursue excellence academically, spiritually, and professionally while using their gifts to positively impact others.
