Freshman Parking Policy
As of August 31st, Campus Safety will not be taking any new parking policy appeals for review for Fall 2015. If you need medical accommodations, please submit an appeal form with supporting documentation to the DLRC (see below).
Due to increased enrollment and limited parking, resident first-time freshmen are not permitted to have motorized vehicles on campus. For information about transportation alternatives, please visit our Transportation section. We realize that some students have extenuating circumstances where having a vehicle is necessary. Resident freshmen students, who are able to demonstrate a compelling need for a vehicle, may appeal to register their vehicle on campus. Those interested in appealing may contact their admissions counselor or Campus Safety by email at CampusSafety@cui.edu. Please be prepared to provide sufficient documentation supporting your appeal.
If you are appealing the freshman parking policy due to personal health or disability concerns, please contact the Disability and Learning Resource Center at (949) 214-3039.
