Build the Nest

Build the Nest

Hear from student-athletes, Athletics Director Crystal Rosenthal, and President Dr. Michael Thomas as they share their experiences with Concordia athletics and introduce a fundraising initiative that will propel us into a new era for Eagle Athletics.

Watch Now

For over 40 years, excellence has been a driving theme in all that we do across the Athletics program at Concordia University Irvine. On the field, in the classroom, and throughout our communities, our Eagles are held to a standard that is second to none. From the earliest days of the university to our transition into the NCAA, a commitment to excellence has been, and always will be, at the core of everything we do.

As we look to the future, we are now preparing for the next major initiative to support our student athletes here at Concordia: The Eagle Athletics Initiative. Through these efforts, we are continuing our promise to provide our student-athletes with new facilities and resources that match their level of commitment to excellence.

At the center of our efforts will be the new Eagle Athletics Complex. This facility will provide a desperately needed new strength and conditioning center, team rooms for our players, and new grandstands for our fans. The softball field will undergo a major renovation, sand volleyball courts will finally make their way to campus, air conditioning will be added to the CU Arena, and a new outdoor turf training field will serve all of our teams.

We are committed to providing our student-athletes with new facilities and resources that will ensure they have a Christ-centered environment that supports them both on and off the field. And we are committed to you: our loyal fans, friends, and family members who have supported us for over four decades. The results of this initiative will impact not only our current students and fans, but generations to come.

Support The Eagle Athletics Initiative

Total Goal: $10M

Through the generous support of a $5,000,000 gift from an anonymous donor, The Eagle Athletics Initiative is more than halfway to our fundraising goal of $10,000,000.
