Disability Access Services

Advancing accessibility for students with disabilities

The mission of Disability Access Services (DAS) is to partner with the campus community in creating equitable access to eligible students while promoting disability-inclusive diversity. We address barriers in the learning, social, and physical environments of Concordia University Irvine through accommodations, education, consultation, and advocacy.

Schedule an Appointment

Disability Access Services is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, Pacific time. Students can request a phone or virtual appointment via the online calendar link. For in-person appointments, please email [email protected] The DAS office is located in the Student Success Center, directly across from the gym.

Reserve Space in the DAS Testing Center

DAS is committed to providing fair and appropriate testing accommodations for eligible students. Students are responsible for scheduling proctored exams. Due to COVID, most exams are being proctored online rather than in the DAS Testing Center. If you need DAS to proctor an exam, please email [email protected].

Request Academic Accommodations

Any student with a documented learning, physical or mental disability who feels their disability may impact academic success may be qualified to receive accommodations. Students should make accommodation requests no later than 1 week prior to needing them. All discussions will remain confidential. Ideally students should request accommodations at the beginning of a term, but if an issue arises mid-semester, students should contact the DAS Coordinator as soon as possible. However, not all mid-term requests can be guaranteed. Once your learning needs have been established and upon your consent, the DAS Coordinator will work with you and your professors.

Request Housing Accommodations

Disability Access Services collaborates with Residential Education and Services (RES) to coordinate housing accommodations for students with disabilities that impact a living situation due to disability or medical condition.
