Concordia University Irvine Names New Director of External Partnerships and Business Development

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY IRVINE NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF EXTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

 

IRVINE, Calif. – Jan. 29, 2015Concordia University Irvine announced today the addition of Justin Moschina, MA EML, as the new director of external partnerships and business development. With over 12 years of managerial experience in consultative sales and business development, Moschina will oversee Concordia University Irvine in building partnerships with the community to raise awareness of the schools’ graduate and professional studies programs.

                “We look forward to creating new relationships and growing our graduate and professional studies programs under Justin’s new leadership,” said Doug Grove, Associate Provost for Adult and Graduate Operations. “His experience in business development, leadership and consultative sales makes him a perfect candidate to identify important church partners, school partners, business partners, healthcare and nursing partners, and international program partners both currently and for the future of Concordia University Irvine.

                As director of external partnerships and business development, Moschina is responsible for leading a team of business and community recruiters to build relationships with corporations, government entities, community colleges,hospital systems and churches to increase enrollment of the graduate and professional studies programs at Concordia University Irvine.  As director of this initiative, Moschina willfocus on increasing awareness of the brand regionally and nationally.

Moschina brings his own experience from participating as an adult student, having earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees after the age of 25. Prior to working at Concordia, he was the Director of Student Services and Veteran Resource Center at Vanguard University. Additionally, he graduated Magna Cum Lade from Vanguard University with an undergraduate degree in Business, Organizational Management. He received his MA in Leadership (EML) at University of Southern California where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Alpha honors societies.
