Who: Concordia University Irvine’s theatre department. Written by Plautus, translated by Erich Segal, directed by Tony Vezner and produced by arrangement with Samuel French Inc.

What: Theatre performance of The Brothers Menaechmus

This classic Roman comedy follows a set of twins, separated when they were young,who are trying to find each other. When one twin arrives in his brother’s hometown, insanity breaks out as each is mistaken for the other by wives,girlfriends, servants and friends! This production hearkens to its classical performance roots with beautifully-crafted masks and a Roman feel while adding plenty of modern music and hijinks!

“This classic comedy will make you laugh until you snort,” said Tony Vezner, Associate Professor of Theatre.
