SB 1146 Update from President Krueger
Dear Concordia family and friends,
I'd like to thank you for your diligent efforts in voicing your opposition to SB 1146.
As a result of your phone calls, e-mails, and letters, Assembly members have been inundated with correspondence and may hear the bill at the Judiciary Committee on Thursday, June 30, or wait until after the July break and hear it in August. While this is good news for the moment, the implications of this bill continue to threaten Christian higher education. And because of this, our efforts must not let up.
In the meantime, Concordia University Irvine remains opposed to SB 1146 unless amended. Thank you for your time and consideration. We are grateful for friends like you and look forward to working together. We will continue to post updates, as promised.
