Who: Concordia University Irvine: The Concordia Choir, Concordia Master Chorale, Concordia Men’s Chorus, Concordia Women’s Ensemble, Concordia Concert Handbells, Concordia Wind Orchestra, Concordia Sinfonietta.
What: Celebrate the birth of Christ and the hope of salvation this Christmas season with two options: Concordia Christmas Concerts, “Hope For All Nations” and the Concordia “Christmas Eve” worship service.
Jesus Christ brought a message of hope for all nations: forgiveness, freedom, new life and joy. In Christ, God graciously invites all people of every time and place to live in relationship with their creator and redeemer.
"Concordia's Christmas Concerts are perennial favorites for Orange County residents because of the opportunity to hear a large chorus, orchestra and handbells in the intimate, worshipful setting of the CU Center,” said Jeff Held, Concordia’s Arts Division Chair. “These are among the finest,sacred concerts of the year."
When: Hope For All Nations concerts: December 1, 7, 8 at 7:30 p.m., December 2, 8 at 3:00 p.m.
Concordia Christmas Eve worship service: December 11 at 7:00 p.m.
