I graduated from Concordia in 2016. I majored in Communication Studies.

What was your favorite thing about being a part of Concordia Forensics?

The family aspect of the team. Also, the opportunity to travel to different institutions and states.

What did you accomplish as a member of Concordia Forensics of which you are most proud?

The opportunity to be captain of the IE team, breaking at a national tournament AFA 2016, and competing with my DUO partner.

What’s a fond memory of Concordia that you hold?

Graduating with some of my teammates.

What, in your opinion, makes Concordia Forensics unique from other forensics programs?

The competition level of the tournaments and the coaches CUI bring in from other institutions.

Tell us a little bit about your current or most recent job.

I am a graduate student at CSUF, an intern at Fullerton Community College for the Communication Department, and I teach Intro to Public Speaking for CSUF.

What part of speech/debate have you found the most useful in your career?

The whole activity teaches and prepares students for any career that involves communicating to another person.
