Musical Guests
City of Lions
When City of Lions, a pop/rock band from Orange County, California, took the main stage at Joshuafest 2012, they were met with hundreds of excited fans, most of whom had not heard of the band before arriving at the festival. They were simply drawn in by the band’s unique sound and passionate energy onstage.
After having their music featured in multiple famous YouTube “Dude Perfect” videos, just one video alone getting over 1.5 million views, and on the JCTV television network, the band has gained a substantial online following, all asking that the band play in various locations around the world. It is the band’s goal that they would be a vehicle to gain influence and express the true meaning of love.
Hestyn
We are proud to announce that Hestyn, a band comprised of Concordia alumni, will be our opening act for this year’s Night of Hope! Hestyn combines powerful melodies with passionate lyrics that awaken the spirit of timeless classic rock which permeates the very soul of American culture. Hestyn has sculpted a sound that is unique yet somehow familiar, heavy-hitting yet filled with pure emotion. This sound has spawned a diverse fan base that spans all ages, cultures and races.
After years of developing their talents individually, Ethan Pacilli, Jordan Lakin, Chris Peterson, and Jordan Henry formed Hestyn in the Fall of 2009. Each member fully understood the sacrifice necessary to succeed, and were ready to commit to the project. Over the next eighteen months, Hestyn would consistently write new music. This constant flow of new material continues, allowing Hestyn to develop their unique sound, consistently pushing each member to new levels as musicians.
In 2011 Hestyn entered the local “Ernie Ball” Battle of the Bands, and over the span of two months rose to #1, besting more than 200 talented bands to earn them a coveted spot of the Warped Tour. Since then, Hestyn has been busy recording in the studio and writing new music, all while performing on a consistent basis at House of Blues in both Anaheim and San Diego, as well as many other local venues.
Managed by M7 Management, Hestyn has built a solid local fan base and has now turned its sights on gaining national and international exposure. 2012 strategic planning will see M7 Management partnering with key global Entertainment Industry entities, taking Hestyn to the forefront of the International Music and Film Industry markets.
