Dear Student,

Your decision to attend Concordia University was one of the first major steps in your career. Other decisions, such as setting priorities for your use of time, setting academic goals for yourself, deciding to attend graduate school, a professional degree program or to seek a full-time position, and finding ways to improve your personal and character attributes are also major steps you have taken in your career development while at Concordia.

Career planning is a vital part of college life. Career Services is ready to assist you in career planning by providing a wide range of resources and career services for you whether you are looking for an internship, applying to graduate school, or seeking full-time employment. By participating in job fairs, workshops, Career Nights, special programming, or career counseling sessions, you will begin to see the link between your classroom learning and the world of work.

I invite you to stop by Career Services in the Student Success Center, next to the Book Store. Meet with me for an individual appointment, assistance with your resume or cover letter, a mock interview, or to simply discuss your career goals. Become familiar with this website. Learn about the many resources that my office has available.

This website is a resource for you to use to become more familiar with our services and to give you immediate assistance with a number of job search tools and procedures.  Investing the time to become familiar with my services and facilities is the crucial first step in your successful job search.
