Chapel
Chapel is a 20-minute spiritual boost to your day. Gathering in the CU Center from 10:30-10:50am, we offer a great variety of formats. Join us for Worship, Bible Study, and Praise.
Monday - Plug In
Bible Study
Monday mornings have long been known as a day we struggle to get reconnected into the weekly grind. For some, it is met with a sense of dread and lament that even the venti-est of venti Starbucks can't quell. Still, they try. However, for those looking for a more adequate treatment for those melancholy Mondays, we suggest a lively connection to the Word as the best start to the week. We offer Plug In.
Plug In offers a solid, bring-your-own-bible, start to your week. It is a relevant, in-depth, 20-minute teaching time that unashamedly plugs us in to the only source that matters - God.
Tuesday / Thursday - LifePoint
Worship
What's the point? Career? Classes? Grades? Relationships? Me?
LifePoint worship is intended to be a small signpost that directs us to the sacrifice of Christ. Embrace the point of His life and only then will we see the point of ours.
LifePoint worship is liturgical worship which uses both traditional and contemporary elements. You will hear sermons given by pastors, and will be inspired by the praise of our vocal and bell choirs.
Friday - Common Ground
Praise & Prayer
Diversity is a given when we survey our campus community. We come from widely different parts of the country and world. We bring such unique life stories with us to this home away from home. Yet, we are all part of the life-changing story of Jesus Christ. It is good, then, that we end our week with an experience that recognizes our sameness. We all have sinned; we have all been shown mercy in Christ; we all stand on the Common Ground of our adoption as children of God.
Common Ground offers praise with contemporary worship songs. It also includes life-application devotionals.
