Other Important Information
Please mail any address changes to:
Office of the Registrar
1530 Concordia West
Irvine, CA 92612
or FAX it to 949-214-3505
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the final posting of your degree. Upon the completion of the semester, all applications for graduation will be reviewed and evaluated for completion of program requirements.
Because Summer and Fall graduates have already received their diplomas and Spring candidates have not been evaluated due to the faculty grade deadline, diplomas are not given at the Commencement Ceremony. Diplomas will be mailed approximately 6 to 8 weeks after graduation once all requirements and financial responsibilities have been meet.
Federal Loan Exit Counseling
If you have borrowed money under the Stafford Loan program, federal regulations require you to complete Loan Exit Counseling before graduating. The Financial Aid Office has arranged for you to complete the session online at www.cui.edu/loans. If you have questions, contact Financial Aid at 949-214-3070.
Honors and Honor Cords
Honors are awarded to undergraduate students, and for the commencement ceremony, are based on the cumulative grade point average at the end of the Fall semester. Honors are not awarded to graduate programs. Students will receive honor cords at the Achievement and Milestone Ceremony on Friday, May 3 or at the staging area on Saturday, May 4. Once Spring grades are calculated, honor status will be re-evaluated and may change. Honors are calculated based on all college/university coursework ever attempted. This includes grades that Concordia may or may not have accepted toward your degree program. Honors are noted on the student's transcript and diploma.
