Biography
Professor Karen Wiggins has been at Concordia University since 2006, in the School of Education specializing in Reading as well as Instructional Planning. Beyond her teaching duties she serves on committees such as The China Initiatives, Servant Leadership, and Educational Effectiveness and participates in the Faithfulness and Excellence program. Outside of her teaching duties she has given several keynote addresses and workshops to educators across the United States.
Prior to arriving at Concordia University she taught various grades at the elementary school level teaching multiple subjects and as a Talented and Gifted specialists. Professor Wiggins was educated at Concordia University in Austin, Texas and earned a master’s degree in Reading Education at the University of North Texas.
