Biography

Jason Neben is Assistant Professor of Education and Director of the Student Teaching Program. Professor Neben earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994, California Teaching Credential in 1995, and his Master of Arts in Educational Administration in 2008, all from Concordia University, Irvine.

Prior to his service at Concordia he taught in grades 6th to 8th, with a concentration in middle school mathematics instruction. Soon after entering the teaching field he spent 6 years as an assistant principal for grades kindergarten through 8th.

Jason first arrived at Concordia, Irvine on a part-time basis as Director of Judicial Affairs in the Student Services Department. He also currently serves Concordia and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod at large as the Placement Director for candidates entering full-time service to the church.
