Dr. Bordeaux is a Professor of Education and the Dean of the School of Education. Dr. Bordeaux has been training teachers for over 15 years in the Midwest and at Concordia University. Before entering higher education he was a teacher and principal in Lutheran elementary schools in Maryland, New York and Missouri. Before coming to Irvine he was a professor of Education at Lindenwood University where he served as Director of the School Administration Program, Director of the Early Childhood Program and Dean. He has served on several committees for various public school systems. He has also served on several boards for Lutheran Schools. He has also served with a consulting board for urban Lutheran schools in St. Louis as well as consultant for Midwestern Lutheran Schools.
Dr. Bordeaux holds an Advanced Missouri Teaching Certificate and an Advanced Missouri Administrative Certificate. Although at Concordia University he has taught mostly graduate courses in administration, Dr. Bordeaux has taught several teacher education courses; including Educational Psychology and Child Development.
